The machinery for making two layer cakes consists of:
- work station with shares, used to overturn the cake;
- work station with lateral guides to align the two layers of the cake;
- work station for the sizing of the finished snack.

According to the width of the line there can be a certain number of work station also according to the number of circuit groups that have to be made.

Big triple layer cake

The triple layer cake is made with specials shares and overlays.
The work phases are:
- creation of the first double layer of cake with cream inside;
- overlaying of the first double layer on another layer of cake with cream.
